Like I said before, I was excited to read this book because I love stories about tom boys and Catching Jordan was no exception. I think I would give this book 8.8/10 stars. My absolute favorite thing about Catching Jordan was the compete 360 turn it made halfway through. Like with these romance books you think you know how it's gonna end up, and you usually do. But with Catching Jordan? I was astonished at the plot twist and it completely changed my mind about something.
The characterization in Catching Jordan was spot on. I could relate with Jordan very well. Sure, I'm not and will never be the captain or quarterback of the football team. Heck, I'll never ever be on a football team or really want to be. But Jordan's personality and attitude was easy to connect with. She was more like a girl that she liked to think. And Jordan's nervousness about everything relationship was completely understandable and relatable. Her story was definitely one to fall in love with.
Ty's a sweet guy. As soon as she said that he was Chace Crawford's twin I was like I'M IN! He's cute and prefers to handle himself, though, he's a little possessive, he's still completely adorable and I did still like him a lot by the end of the book.
Then there's Sam Henry. Oh, Sam. He's such a cutie pie. I'm in love with Sam Henry. His personality was something to fawn over and I certainly loved his and Jordan's friendship. I want a best friend like Sam! Though, if I can't have a best friend like him, I'd settle for a boyfriend like him.
I loved Jordan's teammates, they really were like her family. Protective and caring for her. They were all characterized so well and felt so realistic.
Anyway, what I'm trying to say is READ THIS BOOK. You will not regret it, it's perfection.
