It's evident that this book was written a while ago. Especially because of their use of My Space. Haha, yeah. Do any of you use My Space? I think the idea of this story is quite interesting- going on a road trip with a recent ex boyfriend. It's dual point of views, from both Jordan and Courtney's, it also has quite a few flashbacks. The flashbacks show how Jordan and Courtney got together and what secret Jordan's keeping. The"now" time is Courtney and Jordan's road trip to their college. This book was a pretty- I know I used this word before but- interesting read. My favorite part of this book wasn't Jordan and Courtney's relationship, but their best friends'- BJ and Jocelyn's relationship. It's quite amusing. Jocelyn's a very bold and forward girl. And BJ, well, he's a pretty funny guy. Those two fight a lot and I find it very amusing. There's one part in the book where Jocelyn's following BJ around and he thinks it's that mafia. Haha.
I'm giving this story 6/10 stars. It was good, but not good enough for 7 stars. There were some parts of this story that I found pretty boring as well as annoying. To me, the reason Jordan broke up with Courtney was rather... stupid. I get that it was a bad situation but... Honesty, dude, it's a good policy.
Synopsis:
There are two sides to every breakup.

This is Jordan and Courtney, totally in love. Sure, they were an unlikely high school couple. But they clicked; it worked. They're even going to the same college, and driving cross-country together for orientation. Then Jordan dumps Courtney -- for a girl he met on the Internet.

It's too late to change plans, so the road trip is on. Courtney's heartbroken, but figures she can tough it out for a few days. La la la -- this is Courtney pretending not to care.

But in a strange twist, Jordan cares. A lot.

Turns out, he's got a secret or two that he's not telling Courtney. And it has everything to do with why they broke up, why they can't get back together, and how, in spite of it all, this couple is destined for each other.
